Uniform

Uniform is not compulsory at Gainsborough Nursery School and there is no expectation for children to wear it.

If you would like your child to have nursery-branded clothing, this is available  from Uniform Direct, 9 Market Street, Gainsborough, DN21 2BL

We do ask that if possible you provide Wellington boots (named).

We recommend that children come to nursery in comfortable, practical clothing suitable for active play and outdoor learning. Clothes that are easy for children to manage themselves — particularly during toilet training — such as joggers or leggings are ideal. As nursery involves a lot of messy play, please send your child in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. The children are very active so we ask you to provide clothing and footwear that allows them to run, jump and climb and that is appropriate for the season

We also have a rail of pre-loved uniform available at nursery. Parents and carers are very welcome to take what they need.
